Charred never disappoints. Not only are the people friendly but the food is so good. Haven't had a single bad item. Every burger has always been fantastic. It's my go to burger place.
Outstanding service and food. My burger was so good it took me back to my backyard in Brooklyn. That char taste is delicious. Service was outstanding, loved Julio. As first timers he made suggestions and recommendations and was extremely personable. Julio is such a happy individual, just makes your meal even more enjoyable. He should be an owner because he makes this place shine. We will be regulars, driving 35 min from Leesburg. Would drive an hour for this burger. Found this place in this month's Washingtonian magazine issue.

This is a pretty decent burger joint in World Gate. The setup, the bar seats, and the fancy lights take more than a normal amount of effort. I'm surprised there aren't more people hanging out here because the burger is good! I believe the patties are wood-grilled so you get that unique touch of flavor in your meat. I've also noticed that they source their ingredients locally. The sauces are homegrown as well. You place the order at the front and the staff delivers it to you when ready. It takes a good amount of time like a good, fresh burger should. My usual go-to is the obvious "Charr" burger. LOL It's so good! One thing I can only complain about is the price of the sides and drinks. I pay $10 ish for the burger itself. If you add fries and a drink, it gets close to $20 something. I wish there was a combo option for a more reasonable price. I usually grab a Charr burger and a ShareTea next door for the same price. That's a better deal to me. Another thing I can nitpick is that the place isn't lively if you know what I mean. Long story short, I'd still pick Charred over any other burger joints in the Herndon/Reston area. I'm going to Red Robins in Chantilly if I'm into a combo deal with a double-calorie count.
Great burgers and fries! Hand crafted burgers cooked over a wood fired grill. Artisan bread, fresh veggies, and a smoky sweet special sauce that could make a roof shingle taste good. simple walk up counter service, and clean minimalist decor. Between the juicy burger and the sauce, it's messy in the best possible way, so grab lots of napkins.
This was a nice casual burger place. The staff was very friendly, gave recommendations and checked up on us. I got the Charred burger which had good flavor with the sauces. I really liked that they put a lot of sauce on the burger. The Cajun fries had good flavor, but I would've preferred it a bit more crispier. Overall, I would come back again when I'm in the area.

We tried their signature Charred burger with bacon and insane Cowboy burger with beef patty, bacon, brisket and jalapenos (so good!). Generous fries portions ensure you're getting great value for your money as well. In my opinion, Charred Burgers has truly mastered the art of burger making. Their combination of excellent food, ample portions, friendly atmosphere and superb customer service easily earns them a 5-star rating. If you're in the DMV area, this is a must-visit spot for burger lovers.
